Heres a page of some rough sup sketches.
Just playing around and having some fun with loose fluid lines

Just LOVE this and the WonderWoman sheet. I have them on my desktop. I'd buy a book done in your style with these characters, any day! Keep up the great work Javier.

Too kind Tom, thank you!
I grew up watching and loving your work over at Disney so it means a lot coming from you.
Thanks again!

hahaha.. well, dont feel too bad, I was in about 7th or 8th grade when Aladdin came out... loved the art in pocahontas as well. So I guess I really wasnt "growing up". I "grew up" with more Sword in the Stone and Robin Hood type stuff as a tyke. Either way I was young.hehehe

lol, i think the tiny feet fit these skecthes very well. the feet are one of the things i love on these drawings. and i think bigger feet would mess up the flow.

Thanks man! To be honest those sketches have been getting a lot of backlash for the lack of feet... hahaha..
oh well, fun shapes nonetheless.

I say it's all subjective. sometimes u gotta go with your gut and have some fun. I know I had fun lookin at em and if u had fun drawin them then what else matters right?

These are friggin sweet, bro! Love the colors; very fun and vibrant; very "Metropolis." What brushes are you using? A bit small to see for sure, but looks like some nice textures on Clark's coat.

Great dynamic poses. I totally dig how his feet are coming to a point. Makes it striking.

Thanks. Actually Im getting a lot of comments that people arent really liking the small tapered feet style... I dont really mind it much but really they were just sketches. Playing with lines and shape mostly and not worrying about how concrete he is.

Well I like it indeed. Playing with shape and line is how style is born. It's good to focus on line relationships and shape to control the focal point of a piece. Puts a design edge to your work. ^_^

Oh wow! Lovely line work, makes me realise I need to practice a lot more than I already do. What program do you use when you're sketching "digitally"?

Sorry to sound like a dummy but I'm only just getting into this whole digital illustrtion thing really. Is cintiq the device where you draw directly onto a screen?

Love the tapered hands and feet - not sure if Supes can ever... ever have a pointy chin though... it's too radical! Lol.
